Workspace Settings
Learn how to manage workspace settings, team members, roles, and workspace preferences.

Workspace settings allow you to manage your workspace, team members, and collaboration preferences. This guide covers all workspace management features.
Accessing Workspace Settings
To access workspace settings:
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Select Workspace from the settings menu
- Or go to Settings → Workspace
Workspace settings are only available if you're a workspace owner or admin. Regular members have limited access.
Workspace Information
Workspace Name
To change your workspace name:
- Go to Settings → Workspace
- Find the Workspace Name field
- Enter the new name
- Click Save to update
The workspace name appears in your workspace and may be visible to team members.
Workspace Description
Add or update workspace description:
- Go to Settings → Workspace
- Find the Description field
- Enter a description of your workspace
- Click Save to update
Team Members
Viewing Team Members
See all workspace members:
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Members
- View the list of all team members
- See their roles and status
Inviting Team Members
To invite someone to your workspace:
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Members
- Click Invite Member or Add Member
- Enter their email address
- Select their role (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer)
- Send the invitation
Invited members will receive an email with instructions to join the workspace.
Managing Member Roles
To change a member's role:
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Members
- Find the member you want to update
- Click Edit or the role dropdown
- Select the new role
- Save changes
Removing Members
To remove a team member:
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Members
- Find the member to remove
- Click Remove or Delete
- Confirm removal
Removing a member revokes their access immediately. They can be re-invited if needed.
Workspace Roles
Owner
Workspace owners have:
- Full control: All workspace settings and features
- Member management: Add, remove, and modify members
- Billing access: Manage workspace billing and subscriptions
- Workspace deletion: Can delete the workspace
Admin
Admins have:
- Most permissions: Similar to owners
- Member management: Can add and remove members
- Settings access: Can modify most workspace settings
- Limited billing: May have limited billing access
Member
Members have:
- Standard access: Can use workspace features
- Make calls: Can make calls and use services
- View data: Can view workspace data
- Limited settings: Cannot modify workspace settings
Viewer
Viewers have:
- Read-only access: Can view but not modify
- Limited features: Cannot make calls or changes
- View data: Can see workspace information
- No modifications: Cannot change anything
Role permissions may vary. Check with your workspace owner for specific permissions.
Workspace Preferences
Default Settings
Configure workspace defaults:
- Default caller ID: Set default number for workspace
- Call settings: Default call preferences
- Notification preferences: Workspace-wide notification settings
Billing Settings
Workspace billing preferences:
- Payment method: Default payment method for workspace
- Billing address: Workspace billing information
- Invoice settings: How invoices are handled
Workspace Invitations
Managing Invitations
View and manage pending invitations:
- Go to Settings → Workspace → Invitations
- See all pending invitations
- Resend or cancel invitations as needed
Accepting Invitations
When you receive a workspace invitation:
- Check your email for the invitation
- Click the invitation link
- Sign in or create an account
- Accept the invitation
- You'll be added to the workspace
Leaving a Workspace
How to Leave
To leave a workspace:
- Go to Settings → Workspace
- Find Leave Workspace option
- Confirm that you want to leave
- Your access will be revoked immediately
Leaving a workspace is immediate. You'll lose access to all workspace data and features.
Before Leaving
Before leaving a workspace:
- Export data: Download any data you need
- Transfer ownership: If you're the owner, transfer to another member
- Cancel subscriptions: Handle any workspace subscriptions
- Notify team: Let team members know you're leaving
Deleting a Workspace
For Owners Only
Only workspace owners can delete workspaces:
- Go to Settings → Workspace
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Click Delete Workspace
- Confirm deletion (this is permanent)
- Follow final confirmation steps
Deleting a workspace is permanent. All data, members, and settings will be permanently deleted.
Before Deleting
Before deleting a workspace:
- Notify members: Inform all team members
- Export data: Download any important data
- Cancel subscriptions: Cancel all workspace subscriptions
- Transfer ownership: If possible, transfer to another member
- Final confirmation: Ensure this is what you want
Troubleshooting
Can't access workspace settings?
- Check role: Ensure you're an owner or admin
- Refresh page: Reload and try again
- Contact owner: Ask workspace owner for access
- Verify membership: Ensure you're still a member
Invitation not received?
- Check spam: Look in spam/junk folder
- Verify email: Ensure email address is correct
- Resend invitation: Ask workspace owner to resend
- Check email settings: Verify email isn't blocked
Can't change member roles?
- Verify permissions: Ensure you have admin/owner role
- Check member status: Ensure member is active
- Try again: Refresh and try updating role
- Contact support: If issues persist
Best Practices
- Regular review: Periodically review team members and roles
- Clear roles: Assign appropriate roles to team members
- Secure access: Only invite trusted team members
- Document settings: Keep notes on workspace configuration
- Backup data: Regularly export important workspace data
