Your call history provides a complete record of all your calls. This guide explains how to view, filter, and understand your call history.
Accessing Call History
You can view your call history:
- Click Call History in the sidebar navigation
- Use the Call History quick action on the dashboard
- Click the history icon in mobile bottom navigation
Understanding Call History
Call Information
Each call in your history shows:
- Phone number: Number you called or received from
- Direction: Incoming or outgoing
- Date and time: When the call occurred
- Duration: How long the call lasted
- Status: Completed, failed, cancelled, etc.
- Cost: Amount charged for the call (if applicable)
Call Statuses
Understanding call statuses:
- Completed: Call connected and finished normally
- Failed: Call couldn't be connected
- Cancelled: Call was cancelled before connecting
- Not Answered: Call rang but wasn't answered
- Busy: Recipient's line was busy
Call statuses help you understand what happened with each call attempt.
Filtering Calls
By Status
Filter calls by their status:
- All: Show all calls
- Completed: Only successful calls
- Failed: Only failed calls
- Not Answered: Calls that weren't answered
- Other statuses: Additional status filters available
By Direction
Filter by call direction:
- All: Both incoming and outgoing
- Outgoing: Only calls you made
- Incoming: Only calls you received
By Date Range
Filter by when calls occurred:
- All time: All calls in your history
- Today: Calls from today
- This week: Calls from the current week
- This month: Calls from the current month
- Custom range: Select specific dates
Searching Calls
Search Function
Use the search bar to find specific calls:
- Phone numbers: Search by number called or received
- Partial numbers: Search with partial number matches
- Real-time filtering: Results update as you type
Search Tips
- Use country codes: Include country code for better results
- Partial matches: Search works with partial numbers
- Clear search: Clear to see all calls again
Call Details
Viewing Details
Click on a call to see more details:
- Full phone number: Complete number with formatting
- Call duration: Exact duration in minutes and seconds
- Call rate: Per-minute rate charged
- Total cost: Total amount charged
- Call time: Exact start and end times
- Recording: Link to call recording (if available)
Call Recordings
If recordings are available:
- Play recording: Listen to the call recording
- Download: Download recording for your records
- Share: Share recording link (if supported)
Call recordings are only available if recording was enabled for the call and is supported in your region.
Calling from History
Quick Call Back
To call a number from history:
- Find the call in your history
- Click the Call button or phone icon
- The dialer opens with the number pre-filled
- Select your caller ID and make the call
Calling from history saves time by pre-filling the number in the dialer.
Adding to Contacts
Add numbers from history to contacts:
- Find the call in your history
- Click Add to Contacts or contact icon
- Enter the contact name
- Save the contact
Mobile View
On mobile devices, call history is optimized:
- Compact layout: More calls visible at once
- Swipe actions: Swipe to call or view details
- Touch-friendly: Larger touch targets
- Grouped by date: Calls grouped for easier browsing
Exporting Call History
You may be able to export your history:
- CSV format: Download as spreadsheet
- PDF format: Download as document
- Date range: Export specific periods
- Filtered export: Export filtered results

Understanding Call Costs
Cost Breakdown
For each call, you can see:
- Rate per minute: The per-minute charge
- Duration: How long the call lasted
- Total cost: Total amount charged
- Billing details: How it was charged to your account
Cost Analysis
Use call history to:
- Track spending: See how much you're spending on calls
- Identify patterns: Find your most expensive calls
- Budget planning: Plan your calling budget

Troubleshooting
Call not appearing in history?
- Check filters: Ensure filters aren't hiding the call
- Refresh page: Reload to see latest calls
- Check date range: Verify you're looking at the right period
- Wait a moment: Calls may take a few seconds to appear
- Contact support: If call should be there
Can't see call details?
- Click on call: Click the call to expand details
- Check permissions: Ensure you have access to view details
- Refresh page: Reload and try again
- Contact support: If details won't load
Recording not available?
- Check if recorded: Not all calls are recorded
- Verify settings: Recording may need to be enabled
- Regional restrictions: Recording may not be available in all regions
